Chemical safety
CCS has a risk assessment program that covers all components affecting chemical safety. Hazardous
ingredient physical & chemical data, fire & explosion, health hazards, reactivity, spill,
or leakage procedures, special protection proper storage & handling.

Chemical Reorganization and Storage
CCS can perform assessments of your departments that store hazardous materials, and implement
effective methods that will ensure the protection of personnel, buildings, equipment and the
environment.

Chemical Reorganization and Storage
CCS can perform assessments of your departments that store hazardous materials, and implement
effective methods that will ensure the protection of personnel, buildings, equipment and the
environment.
CCS personnel can reorganize your stored chemicals into compatible families within each hazard
classification and conduct seminars to raise the level of safe chemical storage awareness for your team.

Chemical(ABC) Purchasing Policy Development
CCS works with organizations to establish effective chemical purchasing policies to control excessive
hazardous chemical purchasing. A baseline inventory of hazardous chemicals and products can be conducted
and the data is analyzed and integrated into our facility materials accounting program, improving the
overall safety of an your organization and reducing costs.
|
| |
| |
Chemical Disposal Assessments
The disposal of hazardous chemicals must be well planned to minimize risk. We have the know how to
handle and dispose of any and all hazardous substances. We can develop an effective disposal program
for you to ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and ensure complete
safety for your employees.

| |
Waste Minimization and Pollution Prevention
CCS develops effective waste minimization programs. Utilizing site assessment by our field technicians
and reviews processes, control mechanisms, and material usage ,a methodology is developed to assure
waste minimization and pollution prevention.
|
| |
| |
Product Hazard Ratings
CCS reviews your chemical inventory,. and rates associated hazards and safety criteria. We then
produce a site-specific color-coded, holistic hazard warning label (SAF-T-LABEL©)
|
| |
| |
Product Substitutions
After analysis of your site, data is cross-referenced for product substitution. We then can suggest
less hazardous but equally effective chemical substitutions.
|
| |
| |
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
CHEMICAL COMPLIANCE SYSTEMS can perform a comprehensive site assessment regarding availability of
personal protective equipment as part of a comprehensive risk assessment program. or as a separate
service.
|
| |
| |
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability.
We can perform an analysis of your facility and provide a comprehensive report to determine what
changes need to be made to insure compliance.
|
| |
| |
Right-To-Know (RTK) Compliance Surveys
Right- To- Know (RTK) laws can guarantee chemical information available to individuals or specific
groups. We can guide you through the maze of laws and legislative differences, how that information
is to be disseminated, and information that should be provided to your employees. Information gathered
in the field is processed by CCS, along with any necessary required agency reports Our instructors are
certified to conduct RTK training programs and OSHA workplace training.

Written Hazard Communication (HazCom) Development
OSHA Standards as well as many state Right-to-Know (RTK) laws, require a comprehensive written hazard
communication (HazCom) program be established. This program may include provisions for hazard assessments,
Material Safety Data Sheets, container labeling, and employee education programs. This guarantees that
employees receive information about all chemical hazards in their work areas, and prepares them to deal
with normal exposures and emergencies.
CCS can develop a comprehensive written HazCom program for any type of company or facility. The service
includes an on-site review of specific operations, and interviews with essential personnel. The program
is then customized to fit your needs and compliance with state and federal regulations and EPCRA
compliance.

Hazardous Materials & Specialty Labeling
CCS has developed a special hazardous material labeling system by expanding the NFPA system to broaden
its utility. The CCS SAF-T-LABEL©. Our label includes acute and chronic health hazards, special
laboratory hazards, safe storage and safe disposal codes, air-water-soil hazard ratings, DOT #s and
personal protective equipment symbols on a 1"x3" color label.
